VenaSeal

About Treatment

VenaSeal is an FDA-approved system used to permanently treat varicose veins close to the surface of the skin. A catheter is inserted through the skin, and a small amount of medical glue is injected into the affected vein. This type of procedure eliminates the risk of nerve injury when treating the small saphenous vein, which is sometimes a risk associated with specific thermal-based procedures. This procedure is administered without the use of local anesthesia, avoiding patient discomfort associated with multiple needle sticks.

If you’re ready to say goodbye to unsightly and uncomfortable varicose veins, schedule an appointment at Vein Specialists of Santa Barbara to determine if VenaSeal is a good fit for your needs.
